After a properly authorized Purchased Requisition has been received by Purchasing Services, the average time to issue a Purchase Order for a dollar amount below the mandatory advertised bid threshold (currently $15,000 for public projects and $69,000 for other types of purchases) is fourteen calendar days. The average time to issue a Purchase Order if the purchase will exceed the bid threshold is 90 days.
